Dido 2008

The winery Venus Universal Falset has its location within the DO Montsant, producing wines with names of heroines and goddesses. Of note, only has 4 hectares and Carignan grapes purchased abroad for the youth of his vineyard. It was founded in 1999 establishing itself as one of the most prestigious wineries of Montsant. The Universal is a small farm of 4 hectares located in the municipality of Falset (DO Montsant) granitic soil (sand): acidic and very poor in organic matter. Manual harvest of selected vines. Fermentation with selected yeasts not to maintain a respect for the expression of each terroir. A 40% deposit rests on cement and the remaining 60% in French oak barrels for 9 months.
